  • Um, if you're not calling a car a lemon, perhaps maybe you should reconsider the title of "Lemon Information?" Also, a little context about this information would be helpful. For example, (re. the complaint about the Scion), air bags are designed to deploy only under specific conditions--high enough speed, the necessary part of the vehicle impacted, etc. Ten mph may not meet that, and the "customer" ma have slid sideways into something; "customer reports" is not the same thing as actual data.

And, come on, what's with this complaint about the accelerator getting stuck under a *second* floor mat, added on top of the manufacturer's? Anyone with half a brain and one ear open for fifteen minutes out of the last six months would know that is just plain *dumb*--to imply that the vehicle is thereby a "lemon" is misleading at best. You guys need to learn the difference between the terms "anecdotes" and "data."

Sometimes it seems all BW does, at least in "Kicking Asphalt," is complain, complain, complain--especially about AAA. Granted, I deplore many of AAA's policies and positions, but, c'mon, you can only beat on that horse so long--you need to be *for* something, not just *against everything*.

Better World, you can do better!
